A Guide to Sustainable Living.

During the first semester of my final year, I researched into sustainability, a topic I have always been passionate about and has been a common theme throughout my studies.

My research showed me that sustainability is no longer just a trend that will pass with time, but a shift in the way we live, which is gaining momentum at a crucial time. I carried out a wide range of research, including conducting interviews, viewing industry reports and analysing sustainable brands and publications.

To communicate my findings and feelings on the topic, I created 'Layer', a guide to sustainable living. Layer is a lifestyle shift, which focuses on conscious sustainable living for the future, in line with Layer's core values and embracing these essentials to layer up your life with a vision.

I wrote 3 creative writing pieces to communicate the sustainable values of the publication, including a poem, manifesto, and a 'love letter to sustainability' which was published by the White T-Shirt Company. I carried out a number of photoshoots, shooting natural settings, models and objects, and also sourced secondary imagery to match the aesthetic of the publication.
